Financial Services Representative

Summary of Responsibilities

FSRs are responsible for the marketing and sale of MetLife products, including life insurance, disability insurance, annuities, mutual funds, property and casualty, and small business products. FSRs are also responsible for meeting the service needs of customers/policyholders.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the appropriateness of all products sold to customers.
  • Prepare a business plan establishing goals and plans/activities for achieving those goals.
  • Prepare individual marketing plan.
  • Perform prospecting activities to acquire new clients.
  • Conduct needs analyses to determine clients’ financial and insurance needs and design an insurance program for the client.
  • Make sales presentations, including options, to clients to obtain a commitment to purchase.
  • Provide front line underwriting services for the Company.
  • Deliver policies in accordance with Company guidelines; establish relationships with customers to service their needs in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Attend Agency/unit sales meetings and required training sessions.
  • Maintain contact with policyholders.
  • Meet activity standards.
  • Participate in individual sales planning conferences (ISPC’s).

Customer Service Representative Trainee

As a trainee incumbent learns about company products and services, policies and procedures, and operating systems and how to apply this knowledge when responding to customer inquiries.

Responsible for responding to routine inquiries from customers regarding mortgage products. Duties include: looking up information and transactions on-line; resolving routine problems and inquires and referring difficult problems to specialists. May be involved in cross-selling or sales referrals of products.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.

Kid First

is looking for Spanish speaking dietitians and chefs who want to get involved in our Chef and Dietitian in the Classroom program and our parent programs teaching children and their parents that there is more in life than foods from McDonald’s. Help kids and their parents to learn about real foods, whole foods and fruits and vegetables, that taste great and are good for them. We have requests for all grade levels and parent workshops in schools throughout the state. School visits can be arranged when YOU are available and can be for once or twice a school year or more. A stipend is paid for the visits along with reimbursement for any food and supplies that are purchased.
